Keep your child safe online

In order to complete work and effectively learn, your child will have to spend much time online. It's obvious that parents will want to ensure their child is safe online. Parents are encouraged to ensure their children does not have access to the internet in a private space such as a bedroom. Place your child's computer in an open space such as the kitchen; dining room or kitchen. Speak with your child regarding staying safe online and how they intend to do it. Ensure you, as their parent, have access to passwords. You might also want to enable any parental controls to block any particular content. Read your child's social media communications with others- how do they communicate? Your child is stuck at home, they will want to communicate with friends. But how they do so is very important. Ensure your child takes regular screen breaks every 30 minutes or so.
